I-Therm is a revolutionary treatment system that safely promotes healing by deeply penetrating your pet’s tissue with heat.  The I-Therm unit delivers 1000 times more concentration at the molecular level than traditional ultrasound.  It is this molecular motion that induces “hyperthermia” (deep heat).  Molecular hyperthermia increases blood flow and thereby promotes dramatically more efficient delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the affected area for more rapid removal of toxins.  This non-invasive application has sensors that safely monitor the temperature, so there is never a danger of over-heating or hurting your pet during treatment.
WATCH MAGGIE’S AMAZING RECOVERY WITH I-Therm TREATMENTS!
I-Therm is proven to exceed the benefits of other traditional treatment options such as laser therapy, electric stimulation, ultrasound, and even surgery, with visible results much quicker.  There is very little risk to your pet of complications and no recovery period.  I-Therm is performed in our office and requires no anesthesia.  I-Therm IS COMPLETELY SAFE! Clinical trials at Duke University have confirmed the safety and benefits of I-Therm treatments. Village Animal Hospital is the ONLY hospital in New York offering this exclusive treatment for pets.  I-Therm hyperthermia treatment technology safely and non-invasively treats your pet’s pain and accelerates your pet’s rehabilitation process.  The beneficial effects are often experienced after only 3 thirty-minute treatment sessions!  Many pet owners see immediate pain relief and increased mobility in their pets after the first I-Therm treatment.  Over 80% of animals treated with I-Therm appear to be pain free or have significant pain reduction.

AFTER HER 4TH I-Therm TREATMENT, MAGGIE WAS DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL AND WENT HOME!
Henry had an acute ruptured lower lumbar disc in 2009.  He was completely paralyzed from the waist down. At that time, Henry had extensive back surgery to remove the disc, but too much spinal cord injury had occurred.  Henry had barely any movement in his rear legs, no movement in raising his tail, and he was unable to urinate from nerve damage supplying the bladder, therefore he required his owner to manually express his bladder for him numerous times during the day.  Henry’s owner took Henry a few times a week for acupuncture treatments, since she was told that Henry would never walk again.  With only 6 treatments of I-Therm, Henry is now running outside, lifting and wagging his tail for the first time since 2009, and urinating without assistance.  He runs so fast, that his owner needs a leash to keep up with him!  This past weekend, his owner took Henry to the park to run and play with other dogs for the first time in 3 years.  Henry’s owner calls us here at Village Animal Hospital each morning, crying in joy and relief for Henry's progress.  Henry receives I-Therm deep tissue heat penetration treatments 3 times a week.  Dr. Denise Ceravolo expects Henry to be back to normal in 4 – 8 weeks with I-Therm treatments.
